Printed & flexible
electronics
Conductive polymers, additive manufacturing and the physical mechanisms behind resistive sensing.
Associate Professor · Technical University of Denmark
I explore the meeting point of materials, electronics and mechanics—to build new ways of sensing and actuation.

01 / About
I am Gabriel Zsurzsan, Associate Professor in the Electronics section of DTU’s Department of Electrical and Photonics Engineering. I also serve as Head of Studies for the BSc in Electrical Engineering.
My research focuses on sensing and actuation, with applications in wearable healthcare and flexible electronics. I investigate conductive thermoplastics and 3D-printed resistive sensors, alongside work in power conversion and electronics for demanding environments.
I hold a PhD in Power Electronics (2016) and an MSc in Electrical Engineering, specialising in Robotics and Automation (2013).
